Amashikolo.ca is an on-line shop, on-line shopping made easy, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada.  We are registered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for GST (Good and Services Tax)/HST (Harmonized Sales Tax). Our Business Number is 85960 5982 RT00001. Therefore, we must follow all the existing laws that apply to businesses as they also apply to business conducted over the internet. Amashikolo.ca is required to charge tax on our online store to all Canadian residents. The rate of tax to charge for a supply of goods and services is based on the place of supply.

If the supply is made in a particular Province of Canada, then we must charge the HST. The HST applies in the participating provinces at the following rates: Ontario – 13%, Nova Scotia/New Brunswick/Newfoundland & Labrador/Prince Edward Island -15%, and British Columbia – GST of 5% & Provincial sales tax. The rest of the provinces only charge GST of 5%.

At Amashikolo.ca, since supply is from worldwide sources, meaning non-participating provinces of Canada, we just charge the GST of 5% to all-customers resident in Canada.

However, Amashikolo.ca, until further notice, as an appreciation for your business, we will pay the GST for all customers resident in Canada.
